Meet Your Host

Annie Cherskov | Annuity Annie

My name is Annie and I specialize in retirement income strategies. I focus on 3 pillars of Retirement Income: Growth, Stability, and Control. I also manage your liability risks where I define and help reduce the risks inside your portfolio, such as volatility risk, inflation, and TAXES. I am an insurance-only professional because of the guarantees, safe growth potential, and tax code gifts offered to us in certain insurance products.

I am a 9 year industry vet and most of my career has been spent coaching  advisors how to implement annuities and life insurance into their practices. I have seen annuities grow and change throughout the years through various interest rate environments and stock market cycles. I am familiar with Fixed Indexed Annuities released since 2014 and some of my job is optimizing older, low-performing annuities by refinancing them. If you have an old annuity, it makes sense to check and see if there are better rates available to you or more money on the table.

When I am not talking about retirement income strategies, I am doing a different kind of mentoring… I am a coach for the Olympic sport of Saber Fencing! I live in Denver with my boyfriend Robert and our fur kids, Bean and Cheddar. I am originally from Florida and a hardcore football fan (Go Gators!). I also love to travel, read, and do the occasional whiskey tasting.
