Do you have a plan to help maximize your Social Security benefits and minimize your taxes? Social Security may be one of the largest sources of income in retirement while taxes may be one of the largest expenses. Not properly planning for both can lead to less income in retirement.

Join us for a special event at Yorba Linda Public Library where we will discuss the following important topics:

  • What’s new and changing for Social Security and taxes in 2025.
  • The changing financial landscape for those approaching retirement.
  • The impact that proposed changes to tax laws, market volatility, high interest rates and rising inflation may have on your retirement income.²
  • Why taxes can be one of your biggest retirement expenses without a proper plan in place.
  • Immediate, actionable steps to protect your savings from heavy, unnecessary “retirement taxes.”
  • How Social Security Benefits relate to, and affect, your taxes in retirement and how to avoid excessive taxation.
  • Claiming strategies, common mistakes to avoid and planning techniques to help you maximize your Social Security benefits.
  • How you can create tax-free retirement income and potentially lower your tax bracket in retirement.
  • Planning for longevity, inflation, and future tax increases to ensure you won’t OUTLIVE your money in retirement.
  • And MUCH more!

Meet Your Host

Bradley Shammas, CFP®, CPFA | Founder | IWM Financial
I’ve worked in the finance industry since 2009. That wasn’t the best time to start a career in banking and finance, but I loved it.

I choose to spend my time not just on investments, which is particularly important when investing in retirement, but spending my time talking about financial planning. Discussing how to reach dreams and goals, spending time with kids, with grandkids, and traveling in retirement. The investment side is important, but how we use those investments in life is more important.

In 2016, I launched Intentional Wealth Management, IWM Financial, with the goal to “Plan First, and Invest Second”.

We work out of Orange County and Riverside.

We work on retirement planning and retirement plans.

We help our clients plan around taxes, plan for income, and plan to retire with clarity and confidence.

We value the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and CFP® marks.

We volunteer and support the Financial Planning Association.

We proudly have faith-based financial planning roots.

When I’m not serving retirement plans, I spend my time with my beautiful wife and kids (Penelope and Alexander) in our home city of Riverside.
